I've loved using this book, especially for the mystery effect. You have no idea what the picture will be. The numbers show quite boldly so unless you don't mind that I'd suggest using acrylic pens/markers with full coverage

I just received this book for Mother’s Day. I’m excited to get started. I have used colour by numbers before but this is different all to the good. I love the idea of one sided and being black paper so colours bleed through. I myself love using coloured pencils so that won’t be a problem. Also a bit like dot lines & spirals, you can’t make out the picture so it’s a mystery up to the end. Even though the pictures are reasonably simple the pixel like squares,circles and diamonds make it seem so much more detailed Even though I havn’t started yet I know I’m going to love every minute of this and there’s so many Even though the pictures are reasonably simple the pixel like squares,circles and diamonds make it seem so much more detailed to colour. I find this book to be a bit simpler for colouring in, which makes it far more relaxing. I really like how they make a point of listing what colours you will need for each picture as it means it is easy to take out what you need beforehand etc.
